Department of English

Despite the social and cultural impediments that the first generation learners of English face, there is a favourable atmosphere of learning in the department. Special care is taken to grow interest amongst the students towards the subject. Regular students' seminars and other extensions activities like micro teaching and participatory learning classes are arranged. The department has organised two national and one international seminars where academicians and scholars participated from different parts of the country and abroad.
